"An ownership dispute between Los Angeles Dodgers owner Frank McCourt and his estranged wife will linger through at least a third of the 2010 season after a judge on Tuesday set a hearing for late May."
For one of baseballs storied franchise this is not good news as monies will be tied between ownership disputes. McCourt is currently going through the stages of a Los Angeles divorce with wife Jamie. He wanted the ownership issue decided by spring trainging which likely will not happen.
Jamie's attorney has claimed that not all proper property such as documents of income and wealth have not been turned in. This could be an ongoing case until proper documentation is collected or a settlement is reached.
